In a meeting using Collider, Hanks dealt with the impact of COVID-19 on cinema halls that resulted in the release of many expected titles on several streaming platforms. Hanks calls the shift to digital moderate a”due” change.

“A sea change was due, anyhow. It was coming… Will movie theaters still exist? Absolutely, they will. In certain ways, I think the exhibitors, once they’re open and up, are likely to get the freedom of choice of that which movies they’re likely to perform ,” the actor said.

Hanks, whose newest big screen release is”News of the World”, considers theaters are always the go-to alternative for big funding franchises, like the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

“Large event motion images are going to rule the day in the cinemas,” Hanks said, adding his Paul Greengrass-directed play”could be the final adult movie about people saying interesting things that’s going to play on a large screen”.

“After this, to be able to guarantee that individuals appear again, we are likely to get the Marvel Universe and all sorts of franchises.”

The 64-year-old celebrity said storytellers are currently learning how to create content for digital space. “The sea change that’s been attracted by COVID-19 has been a slow train comingback. I believe there’ll be an awful lot of movies that will just be streamed, and I think that it’s going to be fine to see them that way since they will actually be constructed and created and assembled for somebody’s fairly superior widescreen TV in their house,” he said.
