What Getaka publishes

The site organises stored company financial figures and historical comparisons, explains financial concepts, and provides calculators driven by user-entered assumptions. Inclusion in a directory, peer table or fund-holding list is not an endorsement.

Getaka does not provide stock picks, price targets, investment ratings, portfolio recommendations or personal investment advice. Calculators show arithmetic, not suitable investments or expected returns.

Data sources and methodology

Company pages assemble saved records from external data sources. Follow the source links on a company page and then check the original company filings or exchange disclosures. Getaka is not the primary issuer of the financial statements.

  • Dates: the reporting period belongs to each table. A stored price date, a data-fetch date and a page revision date describe different things. Updating this website does not make an old financial record current.
  • Accounting basis: consolidated and standalone statements can differ. Ratio providers may use different denominators, averages or adjustments. Values from separate feeds are labelled and should not be treated as interchangeable.
  • Missing data: an unavailable figure is not zero. Incomplete, stale or conflicting records should be checked against the original filing before comparison.
  • Derived measures: growth rates, ratios and statistical comparisons depend on the underlying records and definitions. They are not a judgement of investment merit.
  • Calculators: formulas and assumptions are explained on the relevant page. Defaults and examples are hypothetical; actual outcomes can differ and may include losses.

Corrections and feedback

Use the contact page to report a problem. Include the affected URL, the figure or wording, its reporting period, and a link to the original evidence where possible. Please do not send account passwords, account statements or other sensitive personal records.

Corrections may involve changing a label, explaining a source conflict, updating a figure or withdrawing material. A report of an issue is not a guarantee of a response time; this is a hobby project. Material changes to these explanatory pages are identified by their revision date.
